Hiya,

Can anyone tell me where to get Pellets from either from a pet shop or online in the UK please? Im in Southampton, Hampshire. Maybe it's my pregnancy brain acting up but just can't seem to find anywhere online, they all seem to be US sites. Was going to try Harrisons, they seem to be highly rated.

Thanks

i like northern parrots lol they seem to process order same day most times an postage is about £3.99 or free on orders over X amount

watch out for special offers, especially pellets as they might only have a few months best before date on them, but a great way to try different pellets

Hello Charlie.. I also live in the UK :)

I get my pellets on line from either of these 2 places;; or you can get them from Shops on Ebay!

Scarletts Parrot Essentials - Toys, Cages, Stands and More!

Parrot Supplies - UK Online Bird Shop, Huge Range, Fast Delivery

I use Harrisons, or the Seapets plumage enhancer ones!! these, I find she likes better than Harrisons!

Would love to see a pic of your YSC.

Thank you, i will save the links and have a look at those sites to see prices. I have just ordered Harrisons Pellets from MAH (Meadows Animal Healthcare) just got a 1lb bag to try Sonny on to begin with. Cost £11 with delivery. He a greedy little beast so i think he will be ok with them.

Thanks,
Charlie

Thanks for the heads up on special offer Pellets, i hadnt thought of expiry dates on the offers.
Have ordered from MAH now but will check out Northern Parrots to see their prices.

Thanks,
Charlie

is it worth me trying these for my girl? ive only just heard about pellets reading through some of the posts on here!

Yes, try to get her the pellets :) I put a small amount of seed and the rest I make up with pellets and nutriberries, which you can also buy from the same place:) The best places to get them from are the ones I listed.

i will have a look tom then!
and try not to buy too many toys lol

LOL... Thats the problem, you just cant help buying toys as well as the food :)

i will try to resist....lol
a friend came over earlier and had a lovely toy she had bought in her local pet shop 'jolleys'.....she had to show me the price tag cuz i didnt believe it was that well made and so cheap....lol
so worth looking in there if you have one near you lol

Both Jolleys and Pampurred Pets have a surprising array of reasonably-priced toys, especially the latter.

ive not looked in pampered pets! the price of the rabbits frightened me!!!
but jolleys ive always found very good prices...much cheaper than pets at home for the same things lol
