I came across this very short video earlier, and it's simply wayyyy too cute not to share. :D

Who knew that they could float?

Very cute! Wonder what the back-story is of a baby owl in a porcelain sink??

I love this, he's all like "What's happening? ...Help? ...Anybody?"

This is one of my personal favorites

Thank you, Wendy! What a sweet video, the little owl is adorable and maybe slightly confused.

Thank You too, Aquila for another very sweet video!

How did I miss this?!? Love the video, Wendy! Hilarity! And I also quite enjoyed your owl video as well, Aquila! Thank you both for sharing!

Obviously I now need a screech owl. Do they make non-screeching diurnal mutations yet? ;) :D

I think you all might enjoy this one too. I need to build one for my birds, especially Sydney!

I found out starlings can float too. I was taking a bath (uhm ya no video's of this one), and Zeki kept looking at my face and then the water from my knee. then he jumped in..and ya floated.

The owl is too cute though. Owls are one of my faves and never knew they floated till seeing this. I'd love to know why he was floating in the sink.

My conures all took turns flying into my parents pool, and flying into the pond in my yard. Not only can they float, they use their wings like the breast stroke.

Sweepea also flew into the pool once as I recall.

The rest of my birds always had the good sense NOT to fly into the water.

My SunDay was the most awkward bather I've ever seen. Worse than my Sydney who dunks his head and flings it backwards.

She'd step into her bowl (which she barely fit in,) turn around and dance in a circle flapping her wings, and just throw the water all over the cage and floor till the bowl was empty. She got almost none on her.

HAHAHAHAH!!! That's exactly what Ripley does. Each and every day I run the vacuum he decides to try and fit into his water dish. His head goes into the water dish up to his eyeballs, he makes sure his beak is filled with water to the brim, then he flings it all backwards. Funny at first, but by the time he's done his waterdish is empty, his cage is a puddle of water, and so is the entire surrounding area.

I ought to get him his own Jacuzzi. :30:

This is why I have an extra large chair mat under his cage, and I'm going to invest in some acrylic sheeting to protect the walls. :D:green:

Those videos are adorable! I am becoming obsessed with owls.

Love the videos! All of them gave me the laugh I really needed this evening!
