Why does he do this

Whenever me (and other family members) walk into the dining room (thats where we keep Bobby ) he goes crazy inside his cage! His feathers stand up and he starts screaming until we let him out. Is that just because he wants to come out?

yup! Ellie does that when I get home from an errand, she starts screaming and jumping. Bobby is just happy to see you
