Why the yellow parrot head twitching sometimes? Please help me.

他三岁半了。我们看过兽医,但他们无法诊断出问题所在。歪头已经持续一个月了,最近变得更加频繁。

MODERATOR EDIT: He is three and a half years old. We saw the vet but they couldn't diagnose the problem. The head tilt has been going on for a month and has become more frequent recently.

Seems pretty normal to me. Maybe yellow head has an itchy spot because of molting. I would give baths more frequently.

OK I see what you mean in the second video. 1st - remember that no one on here is a avian vet or trained vet tech. 2nd, parrots can strain muscles and joints, just like people do. When that happens, parrots favor to opposite side or try to relieve the discomfort by itching, scratching or other means ( the only way they have!). This could be from a strain. 3rd, this could be some sort of neurological issue, in which case a really good AVAIN vet needs to be involved. Nerve issues are very tough to diagnose and treat.

Wish you good luck!

Thanks. I’ve been to several vets, but nothing’s worked.
