Hello all....Will wild caught Alexandrine parrots breed in captivity ?

Well,, it works for most other parrots. Where do you think we get our parrots from since CITIES?

They could. But if you aren't providing everything they need that they could easily acquire in the wild, you may just end up doing harm to them.

What exactly would those things be besides good food ?

There's a lot to consider beside food. Proper lighting, proper breeding housing, appropriate placement of their cages, the right environment that's conducive to breeding... it's really hard to say if they would or wouldn't breed.

Personally I don't think it's good to breed wild birds in captivity unless they're being released back into the wild and the birds are kept in an environment similar to what they have outside.
