Hello I wanted to ask about my parrot Calippo's feathers on his right wing(pictures)
He is gonna be 4years old and on this picture, he just took a shower in our garden πŸ™ƒπŸ˜ŠπŸ¦œ
I also add picture of his other side(left)of his wing feathers because they look normal. It is just on one side, which I think is weird?
But otherwise he is behaving normal "crazy" sometimes Caique πŸ˜„πŸ˜πŸ¦œ

First pic looks like there may be overpreening... can you share some more?

Yep, looks like over preening/self destruction.

What is his exact diet? How does his cage look(setup?) How much sleep does he get? Is he hormonal now?

Mostly fruit and soaking mix+vegetable
He doesn't eat many seeds.
His cage is filled with toys, but he is all day long outside of his cage. At his "playground"(picture) He just sleeps in his cage at night. But for about 3months he was going to sleep quite late, because I was working late and he always waited for me, sometimes even till 2am, so maybe that could be a reason?πŸ˜” I changed my job already, so maybe I can check, if there will be some change πŸ™

And yes, he is hormonal now 🦜
And since I changed my job, around 2weeks ago, he usually wants to go to bed around 10pm

Welcome and be welcomed.

What a great play area that is!

It does look like over-preening, odd that it is just the one side. Aside from ruling out any medical reasons for this ( a thorough CAV appt should be done to do that), you might introduce some preening type toys and show him how much fun it is to use them (that does work BTW). Radical changes to day to day schedules can affect parrots, who definitely are creatures who love regularity. Any chance of establishing a regular bedtime with him? Parrots need 10-12 hrs of solid, quiet sleep as a rule.
