Yellow wing patches

My alex parrot is growing yellow feathers on his wings! They are located right above the red patches, just bright yellow feathers on both sides. Hes my first bird of any type so I'm not an expert but I've never read about anything like this happening before, could he be a mix of something else?

At first glance i would say there could be a health problem so that would be one area i would have an Avian Vet check out. He could have a vit deficency or liver disease to one of the more serious viral diseases.
