zen clipper has anyone tried this product?

I'm wonder if anyone owns this and if it's actually good at all or just crap....

I'd be happier if it had a backstop, I dunno..... theres a video of it being used.

Any reviews or recommendation for better products welcome....

Not sure how I feel about the spring loaded part, of that would be good or bad. I sew and have regular scissors and spring loaded ones. It’s actually easier IMO when cutting delicate patterns from fabric to mess up with the spring loaded than the regular. Spring loaded are good for big cuts, not delicate intricate ones. Whether or not the same would apply to bird nails, I’m not sure.

In the 8 or so years we’ve clipped Kiwi’s nails ourselves, only once have I hit the quick and that was human error. I would also never use my spring loaded scissors on his wings, only regular ones. Something about that snapping back motion of spring loaded tools makes me nervous around a squirmy bird.

I currently use micro electrical snips, tiny ones. They work ok but sometimes I just buy stuff. But sometimes I just buy stuff.
