Zilla & Her New Cage....

If you all remember the time I had the little Quaker Kick and had borrowed a cage from Shirre (GetWozzy) for him, then you remember how much Zilla loved that playtop cage. She was super mad at me for a couple weeks after I gave it back. She never lived in it, but loved to play on the play top and eat out of the food bowls on top.

Well, long story short Shirre contacted me a few weeks ago and offered me the cage! Of course I jumped on it! It was a great deal and Zilla loved that cage! So I make the arrangements to borrow a pick-up truck and make the 1 hour 20 minutes 1 way trip to go get it. Bring it home, get it in the house, get her favorite perches and toys into it and she doesn't want it!

In typical Zilla Zon fashion she only wants the treats inside, but not to live inside!

Now 3 weeks later we have made the compromise, she will live inside, but not play on top...LOL

Life is never boring with a fid. I'm sure Zilla will grow to love it. Well done on being such a good, caring parrot mom.

Oh how funny. After all that Amanda lol! Maybe one day all of a sudden she'll surprise you... I think it's only a matter of time before she takes to it again .
