Zilla in Her Mansion Pics

I put her in it this morning, she had breakfast and explored.

We hung her "Play Gym" over it, but I haven't let her out to play on it yet.

If she doesn't like the gym over the cage there is plenty of room to put it inside, we will just play that one by ear and see how it plays out.

Glad she's decided to make herself at home! I like the hanging gym thing over it too. And you can see the copper color better in these pics. Very nice! She sure is giving you the "eye" for taking her picture though

She does NOT like her picture taken!

She is getting way more exercise than in the old cage. For some reason she doesn't think standing on the perch Mommy put in front of the fresh food dish is acceptable, so she climbs down gets a piece of something and climbs back up onto the top perch to eat it, then does it all over again and again until she is done eating!

Not much seems to faze her, she is interested in things and may not go check them out right away, but she doesn't run away from the new stuff.

I seriously hit the jackpot when I got her!

The circular swing/gym is made by Kings Cages. It comes in larger and smaller sizes and different colors.

This is the one they had in stock in this size, but I really liked the colors of a smaller one (too bad it was parakeet sized!).

Thanks Amanda. I figured it was from King's. I have the identical rope swing for my guys (and girl), and my Niko (B&G Macaw) is also in a copper color cage, the #506 model.

Zilla totally answered the question of weather she would like the rope swing above her cage!

When I let her out she immediately (like couldn't get to it fast enough) scrambled to the top of the cage and inspected every bead, leather strap, and all of the ropes hanging off of it! She played with and kicked it's b*** for a solid 40 to 45 minutes, ruffled her neck feathers, talked to it, and had the best of times! This was the most I had seen her "play" with or interact with anything in her time with me. She got so tired she had to just stop in the middle of it and have a nap, even tucked her head into her back (I had never seen her do this, she has always napped with her beak on her chest before)

When she woke up after a long nap she immediately started playing again! and played for another 30 minutes or so before she had to have a snack. She played until she just couldn't play anymore and had to go nite nite.

She is so happy with her new cage and her new toys it just melts my heart and I feel all squishy inside!
