Her cage came with "parrot proof" door latches, it said so on the packaging.
This morning I put her in her cage and went to take my shower, when I came out about 15 minutes later she was happily playing on top of her cage!
We have the same routine every morning and she is always in her cage having her morning nap when I come back out after my shower.
Now I have to find a way to make sure she stays in her cage when I am out of the room, or gone. It's just not safe with having 2 cats. They mostly ignore her and she ignores them (they are scared of her!), she hates being on the floor and has never climbed down to the floor. She has only tried to fly 4 times since I have had her, so I don't really worry about that (every time was trying to get away from Mr. Towel & meds)
I don't think she would ever go anywhere except the top of her cage to play with her hanging gym, but I need to make sure she is as safe as I can keep her.
Anyone have any suggestions???
