Zupreems fruitblend for conures

I would advise to switch to a pellet that is free from colors. If they are not eating it now, why start? You can easily try the Zupreem natural and forget the fruity stuff. That to me smells good, but they do not need those added colors. If you feed fresh chopped red, yellow and orange veggies that is your best best.

A friend of mine feeds them to her conures sometimes, it's their least favorite pellet. I'm against anything with added color as a staple diet. If you want to feed Zupreem try the natural pellets.

Although if you want the best go with Harrison's pellets. I feed Rosie a mixture of Harrison's and totally organic pellets along with her fresh and prepared foods.

Have you ever tried Lafeber's ? They don't have any dyes and my birds love it, I don't know why it isn't popular, it's the only brand of pellets petco sells at my local one. The man who created lafebers, Mr.lafeber also created avi cakes so if he is having a hard time weaning on it give him some avicakes . It is a cluster of pellets and seed

I used to feed Rosie Lafeber's, she liked it but I've noticed a big difference in her health since switching her to healthier pellets. They aren't bad, but they also aren't human grade like zupreem, totally organics, and Harrison's.

Lafeber's arent organic ? I can't find any zupreem or Harrison's at petco. I don't think I will be able to order a package every month. I never knew Lafeber's was bad quality, my vet actually said she reccomended to me. I will have to talk to her about this

I got Zupreems Fruitblend for Maxx and he hated them. I use them in his foraging wheel, and he usually just pulls them out and throws them away. He loves his Roudybush Crumbles.

Human grade doesn't mean organic, it means it's safe for you to eat it. Totally organic is completely organic, and Harrison's has organic ingredients in it.

Truthfully I don't like Zupreem or Lafeabers and while learning about pellets I had tried and fed both. If I had to choose one I would choose Zupreem natural. The only Lafeaber's product I like are the Avi cakes you can buy at the vet that don't have molasses in them. When I first brought Rosie to the vet and told her she was eating Lefaber's pellets she said they have a lot of fillers and aren't that great. After switching over to totally organic and several months later Harrison's fine pellets(she didn't like the big chunky pellets) I've noticed a large improvement of Rosie's health. She had been very unhealthy and after switching her healing sky rocketed and and improved vastly in only a few months compared to her slow healing over the last year.

Here's the definition of human grade x feed grade, this one is talking about dog food. source
Human-Grade or Food-Grade refers to the quality of a finished product. The term applies to a product that is legally suitable and approved for consumption by a person (“edible”).

Feed-Grade
applies to a product that is not suitable for consumption by people and is only legally allowed to be fed to animals (“inedible”) because of the ingredients it contains or the way it (or its ingredients) have been processed.

Various ingredients used in many poor-quality pet foods are not fit for human consumption at all, and may include by-products, chemicals, fillers and parts from ’4D’ meats (animals which are dying, diseased, disabled or deceased). These ingredients do not have ‘edible’ because they are produced in a manner that makes them unfit for human consumption or are otherwise contaminated and unsafe for people to consume.

Pritti like the Zupreem fruity medium for years, but there were some colors he would rarely eat, so to stop a lot of waste, I switched to Zupreem Natural and he liked them better and faster than the fruity. Less waste.

My conure came to me eating Zupreem Fruitblend. I never did like the dyes nor the fact that the pellets contain sugar. LaFebers also contains sugar in some form.

When Charlie ate them, his droppings were an unnatural green, red, purple or even brown color. This is *not* good because if he had blood in his droppings or if his urine turned yellow due to liver problems, I might not ever know!

Not only that, but the majority of his droppings were not formed... just one big glop of poo. Switching to Zupreem Natural took care of both of those problems - for the most part. He's now eating Harrison's and his droppings are even better!
