My bf zon nowadays already start to nipping, when my hand go near him and ask him step up but he won't. Instead he use he foot to grab my hand and nip. He nip can be abit painful but no blood or anything. I just want him to stop this habit. I try today put a loud "NO" but since not wrking. So guys and girls, I really need some greats comments here to help my bird and me.

And other thing is, how do I try my bf zon to enjoy his shower? I am using a pump spray right. So guide me along pls. Thanks.:green:

Birds grab your hand with the beak for balance before stepping up. It is not really intended as a bite.

^^What she said.^^

You need to be careful that you don't jerk your hand away when he does this (puts his beak on your finger to steady himself), or he'll stop trusting your hand as a perch and start nipping/biting for real. Hold it as steady as you can so he knows it's a safe and stable place for him to stand.

As for the proposed bath-breaking-in plan what is the best way to spray your bird to start out because Quack doesn't seem to like his bath despite jumping in MINE a few days ago!

run a cooler bath an share it! :D

i generally spray nut now, (but she is not a fan of it!) as she mostly wants to drink the bath water, rather then bath in it, when i shower only 1 half of her gets wet lol:p

The bath issues I think let him use to it first.

But right now it's the nipping my hand and won't step up.
Anyone know how dose a blue fronted molting his new feather??? Cos yesterday I had notice 1 big feather drop off, and 2 small feathers drop off. Condition of the feathers not very good looking.

We will have to have a chat about not pooping in the water before hand :D Otherwise, that could be fun!
