Hello. I have had tiki my bfa since Friday but I have yet seen him drink any water. I tried different bowls, warm and cold water, and difference kinds of water. Maybe he is drinking when I not in the room? I know he has to be since there is urates in his poo. He also is eating a lot of fruit so is that what is giving him water?

If he's eating lots of fruit, you probably don't need to worry too much about him getting dehydrated, for the moment anyway. If you just got him, he may be nervous and therefore not drinking, or he may not know where the water is. Have you shown him the water, maybe splashing your finger in it?

I tried that hoping he would see that it was water. Maybe he is too nervous like you said.

If he's eating fruits real good he's getting his liquid from the fruit so I wouldn't worry about him not drinking any water.

My birdy tends to chuck food into her water bowl, I have got her a water bottle as well and she does tend to go to this when she wants a drink. And her bowl when she just can't resist dunking her pellets in it!
