I have been reading the fourm for a while and decided to join. :)

I use to have a yellow nape 30 years ago and have been looking at getting another. I cant seem to find any around here. Is there a place on the web that is honest and will ship?

Welcome to the forum! I do not know of any reputable breeders, but depending on where your located, there are avian shelters (similar to the humane society, only for parrots) that adopt out. Never heard of a shelter that wasn't overflowing with birds in need of loving homes. Adopting a bird isn't for everyone, but it is an option not everyone realizes is out there:)

I am located in Omaha, NE

We have a bird fair here in Sept and they have a website but its really sort of useless. I wouldn't mind having a baby yellow nape

If you call the event's organizers you can ask what vendors will be selling live birds there. Once you have a list, you can research individual vendors and contact them about YNA's.

I did that with a pet fair last year (only I was interested in toy vendors), but the website was no help, so I called them and got a vendor list. They were very helpful and nice over the phone, unfortunately none of the vendors had anything I was interested in. At least I didn't waste the trip!
