Newbie here with a cage question

Actually two, first from all I've read and watched this is an adequate cage for an African Grey but I'm concerned that the wooden vertical bars are small diameter. Would I constantly be repairing or are they not to bad about chewing if they have enough toys?
Second, anyone have a clue, even a guess what this cage is worth? Just bought it for $100

The cage is an art piece used for decoration. From time to time, people will use them for very small birds. If used for small birds, the primary problem is cleaning it!

An Africa Grey will chew through that cage quickly, which quickly solves the other problem of getting an Africa Grey out of that cage. Cleaning also is as quickly solved, as there would be little left.

Thanks guys. You're probably right about it not working for a grey, makes sense that it's for decoration although it does have doors on both bottom levels and it's stackable. Thought I'd use a roll up Matt on bottom for easier cleaning. Perhaps I'll use it for small birds. Your estimate on the value is probably right also but as a trim carpenter also doing some furniture making and repair I can't imagine how many hours it would take to copy this thing. Guess I'll go cage shopping again, I just couldn't pass this one up when I saw it.

Very pretty piece. I used to have a handmade bamboo cage I used for a finch. If you can find a way to keep it clean, adding a canary and a couple of finches to it would add color and song to your home.

It is very important to determine the country of origin prior to using it for a cage. Since only First World Countries regulate what chemicals are used for the construction of products sold. Decorative 'Art' items are not as closely monitored or controlled, therefore no assurance that the black 'paint' and/or glue is safe for children or animals.
