Red's aggression

my lovely and naughty lovebird, Red, who's about a year and seven months
old now, recently started being extremely aggressive towards me. i'm the
only person she likes and does everything with me, but when she's aggressive
i can barely get close to her. she bites so hard and latches on, drawing a lot
of blood from my fingers. i'm used to this anyway since i've had birds a long
time now, but i want to know if this is the usual breeding aggression that will
pass soon.

a month ago, she hurt her left wing and at the same time looked very puffy
and passive. a few days after that she laid an egg, and about a week later
she had laid 6 eggs. they are all infertile though. she was still being very
aggressive towards me until i got rid of her sleeping hut (which she has been
getting very friendly with lol). straight after that she was being her normal
self again, coming up to me when i'm close to her cage and jumping on my
hand when i open the door so she can get her usual scritches and cuddle with
me. that didn't last long though, and a week after that.. she went back to her
aggressive behavior (not that much though) and i notice that her belly is puffy
again. i guess she might lay another egg soon so i'll be waiting for that.

i'm not looking for advice on chronic egg laying and how to prevent it.
i already know about all that. i just want to know if this aggressive behavior
will pass or not.


oh and since i haven't introduced her here yet.. here's a photo of her cute
