LOl. Ok Saki my lovebird is starting to drive me crazy here. Well the cage we already have has been modified and she'll stay in it now. Yay. I zip tied all the bars. In several places. The lady who was supposed to trade me didn't work out. Plus I don't want to switch to a smaller cage. So I have a few resources adn will be trying those.

Now Saki likes to sit on my shoulder and bite my moles and ears. She also nibbles on my cheeks. What can I do? She won't stop or listen. And if I take her off my shoulder she will fly back. We just clipped her wings so she can't fly until she is better trained but she also doesn't like to be alone, so I have her in my jacket hood all day everyday no matter what I am doing now. Any suggestions? My moles and I have like two hairtages. She wants to remove them. My ear she bites the lobes after nibbling them. It's starting to really hurt.

When a bird exhibits unwanted behavior, you need to change the behavior in two ways. One, she should not be allowed on your shoulder or near your face if she is biting or pecking at moles or you in any way. Two, you need to redirect her attention to doing something that is acceptable. Offer her a small toy and praise her if she shows any interest in it and discontinues the unwanted behavior. With time and patience she will learn what you expect from her.
