:confused:Hi Fellow Paronts, I have a 9 year old U2 who has laid a total of 7 eggs in the past two years. Prior to now, she had always lost interest after a few days. With this current egg though, it has been two weeks, and she still is sitting on it. After 3 days we replaced it with a hollow egg. But she is still sitting on it and very protective over it. She only wants to come out of her cage to eat, which is once a day now and then wants to go back to her cage and immediately sits on this hollow egg. I am at wits end, and do not know what to do. She normally eats well, with fresh veggies and fruit, and zupreme pellets, with Kaytee Nutri berries as treats. Have any of you paronts ever experienced this behavior? Or does anyone know how long this will continue? Any advice on what I should do. All input would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help. Have a blessed evening...

Thank you for you response. Sheba is due for her yearly exam with her avian vet in 6 weeks, but I think I will give the office a call in the morning and get her scheduled a lot sooner.
