Hello all!

We got home from France yesterday and let me tell you...Paris is even more amazing than I remember. The art, the food, the beautiful buildings and the romance is just overwhelming.

Anyways, I got frequent updates in my birdies while I was gone and my babysitter (and trusted flock mate) Crystal told me daily that Finley was looking better and better. She sent me many videos and pictures to get me through leaving my sick baby at home. Ollie never showed any signs of being sick but today just in case I took them both to the vet to get Finley a fallow up check up and just have Ollie quickly checked and they both got a clean bill of health. Finley's skin is just a bit pink naturally in the winter it would appear and seems to get lighter and pinker throughout the day depending on how active he is. He did have a sinus infection which made his skin around his eyes and head actually red so that's over now and we're back to slightly pink. Vet said despite daily showers and steam showers his skin could still be dry. I'm going to try giving him .5ml of coconut oil daily for a couple weeks. So that's all good news and I'm really happy with all of that!

In other news, when I got home it was late at night so I didn't see the birds until morning. They both shrieked with happiness for a bit as they did their morning poopy in the sink. Then after Ollie was don't being relieved and happy he proceeded to cuss me out for the next hour or so. Finley just because very clingy and basically wants to be attached to my hip from now on. Luckily while I was away the 2 of them started getting on a little better so I'm able to hold them both at once for much longer with little to no fighting. After Ollie cussed me out he went back to his normal quiet reserved loving self so I feel the trip brought me little to no bird on mom backlash! Here is a video of yesterday morning about an hour after they woke up.

Thanks guys! I unfortunately could not find any bird toys in Paris even though I looked. They'll have to settle for their daddy and I lol. Fin is being so clingy still and Ollie is being the best bird ever as always.
