I have a nice flock of greys, caiques, an Ekky but i am just not settled without my budgies, lovebirds and cockatiels... I just love birds whatever the big or small ones...

Why would you be a freak? Because you like many different feathered friends?

Hey, as long as you can take care of all of them properly, then by all means, have fun with them. :D

My first bird was a parakeet named Buddy (passed away November 8, 2012). My newest friend is a parakeet named Chipper.
Nope. As long as you can take care of them (including vet care when needed) and give them the attention they need, then it's fine. You love birds, and that's great. :)

The only thing I would say is just be sure you don't get in over your head. Some people really love animals and keep adopting more, but then one day they realize that it's just too much for them to handle anymore. They mean well, and love animals and want their companionship, but they just wind up with too many. I'm sure you've seen the stories on tv about people "hoarding" dogs or cats. It's not that they just have a lot of animals...the problem is just that they get in over their heads and can't take care of them properly anymore.

But as long as you're happy, and the birds are healthy and happy, then it's perfectly fine.

Our conure and amazon are cool, but we have a cockatiel I'm really attached to. They're all so different...so I say enjoy them for the unique things each bring to you! I'd love a canary to hear the song...I just don't want to clean more cages right now! :)

Rosebreasted Cockatoo, Congo Grey, MRH Amazon, Lovebird
I have medium-size birds, a Grey, a Rosebreasted 'too, a BF Amazon, but I couldn't be happy without my two very-pet lovebirds, ten-year-old Kora, and two-year-old Kirby (not a pair; they don't even like each other). My husband has an adorable cockatiel that is his personal pet. I'm always amazed at what birds appeal most to people. I love all my parrots for different reasons, but hands-down, the one I most enjoy spending time with is the male lovebird, the love of my life. If you're a "freak," then you're in good company. :)
