Looking for a double cage to keep at our friends house AKA our bird sitter looking for each side to be around 2ftx2ft nothing huge
any thoughts on side by side versus top and bottom
the longest they stay over is about a week while we are out of town
also looking for something on a stand
It will be kept in the garage when not in use so easy to clean would be a big help
I have looked but can't seem to find anything I really like yet that doesn't cost a fortune

Side-by-sides might need a divider, but over-n-unders don't.....then there's the fact that it's usually harder to find free wall space tor a side-by-side cage.....

Didn't think of that..I was just wondering how they might react to having a bird above one of them...

You may look for a big cage and put a acrylic divider between them. Then they do not take up to much space and can see each other. Then you are not spend much on a used cage and can deck it out with toys.

they aren't friends but they do tolerate each other and they are both chewers so metal would be better

You might try your local ads or pet stores for used double stack cages.

I don't know what your price range is... but if you don't think they'd break the welds on these cages, they are also an option (not that I'd recommend it, but I have seen cockatoos, amazons and african greys housed in these cages)

And Amazon has that cage you linked to at $515...
