Sunny - younger, placid & dominant
Sky - Older, trouble, jealous & chewer

Previously had a male Budgie that lived for 12 years.
One of my tiels (Sky) is doing the "I'm annoyed so I'm going to do the soft bite harmonica effect" on my hand

I have no idea why, he's just sitting there and if I try to pat him and he does the same effect to my fingers that try to pat him.

It may be because he's jealous that I'm patting my other tiel but even when I stop to pat Sky he does the annoyed effect. Same thing happens when I try to pat both at once lol.

I took a short video of it if you want me to upload it?

Is he still doing it today? He may have just been annoyed, like any person would get, just a mood that will probably pass. If it persists, let us know!

Is he doing the "fake biting" thing cockatiels do where they go crazy and they look like they're tearing your hand or face apart like mad, but actually they're just "beaking" you? If so, my girl does this constantly when she wants her head scratched or she wants to play, or she's annoyed that I stopped scratching her head. A friend of mine saw her doing it once after I stopped scratching her head, she went crazy on my hand, and my friend thought she was actually biting me and was horrified by it, lol.
