Just wanted to say Hi. My wife and I are new to parrots but very much smitten by Chloe, our Umbella Cockatoo and Joey, our Hahn's Macaw. Both are still being weaned at the pet store, which we visit at least daily. We are very much looking forward to them coming home.

Glad to be hear and look forward to talking to you all.

Wow that's sure going to be a handful! Two demanding baby parrots at once to new parronts. Are these your first? They will sure need a lot of attention and 'toos and Macs are very destructive naturally so some parrot proofing will be in order for sure as well as providing them with lots (and they will go through lots!) of ok'd chewables.

We would LOVE to see some pics of your new babies when you get them. What kind of housing setups are they going to be in?

Yes, our first Parrots. We have finches as well, a Gouldian pair and 5 eggs. They are going to be a handful for sure, but we a ready. Joey, the little Hahn's Macaw lives in a 24X18X36 inch domed top cage. Chloe, the cockatoo will be getting a 36 inch wide cage with plenty of room to spread her wings. Because they are living at the pet store unitl weaned, we are letting them pick their own toys
