Dear all,
I am so perplexed, I have an almost 3 month goffin cockatoo, who WILL NOT stay on his play stand. Now he will when I am sitting there, but the second I get out of his eye shot he's off. Now I have unplugged all the cords he can get to. He thinks the dog a 4 Lbs yorkie who is as sweet as they come is his bird buddie. It is rather comical, the Goffin ( Mister Magoo ) will go up to the yorkie and put his head down to be scratched. The yorkie looks at him like what do you want, then Mister Magoo bumps her foot and says scratch come on here's my head.
I just want him to stay put when I leave the room. Now part of this is my fault as when I first got him for the first week or so I carried him with me because his play stand hadn't arrived on a basket with toys. Now he thinks I am suppose to take where ever I go. I have tried putting him in his cage, for a short time out, and when I pick him up I tell him NO, but after the time out I intentionally leave the room and he does it again, Any suggestions,
Please
