Is it possible to change the name of a 10 year old CAG and have him learn to respond to it? Also, what's the best way to sex an CAG?

Not a good idea to change the name and dna is the best way to sex a bird. Birds do get accustomed to their name and changing it might just confuse the bird. I wouldn't change unless the name is offensive in some way.

I agree to not change the name after ten years. You can get a kit for dna testing at avianbiotech.com
