Talk or Not!

My 8 yr old TAG only talks when I leave the room. I talk to him hoping he will say some words back to me while I am standing there, but no luck. Needless to say he is not a big talker only says a handful of different words and makes different sounds and whistles. Although lately, I have noticed all he has been saying is "Birdie" and not the other words I have heard him speak. What do you think is going on? Am I talking to much to him? Does anyone have any advice how to get him talking again.

I made a CD of my own voice for Codie.. I repeated every phrase 3 times on it and just put it on repeat when I am not here, or even if I am busy. this has worked a treat and she is now saying lots of different things

I was given this tip from my great Friend Antoinette, who also does this with Mishka

Give it a try and see how you get on!
