Enzo - adopted Female CAG circa 2004. A truly amazing young lady!
Hi all,

thought id share a cute story from Saturday morning. I was up at 5am in order to drive down to London to visit my eldest son who is currently at the Francis Crick Institute in the cancer research labs. Enzo was clearly asleep when I came into the kitchen, she woke up and said 'night night', I told her 'no, its morning time!', half uncovered her and she went through her going to bed routine and then hung on to the cage door so I let her out. She climbed on to my shoulder, I always put my shoulder next to her in the morning, she then immediately climbed down to my forearm, fell against my stomach and promptly fell back asleep. Definitely a huge 'awwwww' moment and I felt terrible having to wake her up so she could have her breakfast. Sleepy bird......

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Aw, definitely a time-warp for Enzo! I'm sure she went back to sleep in her cage, dreaming of sleeping on your forearm!

Not to pry, but I hope your son is working at the cancer lab and not as patient.

Umbrella Cockatoo- 15? years old..I think?
So cute!

Birds ownership is crazy....It's so much work, but nothing else behaves that way. Amazing how human they can be- love it!

Yeah he's researching parrelism in cells or something. Something to do with how cells can split in two incorrectly and eventually becoming mutated to the extent that cancerous growths occur. It's to compliment his biology masters degree. Budding scientist.
