Can red colored poop be normal? Keen seems to have a lot of it lately. I'm guessing it's from her food? She eats Zupreem fruit pellets.
However, my tiel eats the same & his are black & white.
I'm feeling worried.

If she has been eating the colored Zupreem pellets and her poop is a light, vibrant red, then that's normal. My two caiques eat that and one of them prefers the green, and hers is light green. My other bird prefers the red and hers is light red. Its like Christmas on the bottom of the cage :p I am slowly switching them to roudybush since I'm tired of their poop staining things.

Yes, she does eat reds a lot. She also eats red bell pepper. She has normal tan & white poops too. I'll definitely keep closer track of it too. I don't want to mas anything serious or needlessly worry myself either.
I've been thinking about switching her & the tiel to the Zupreem Natural blend. Maybe that'd be a good idea.

Yeah mine like the Zupreem natural blend but it is significantly more expensive than roudybush and they are practically the same thing.

I've not found Roudybush here, but they sell Zupreem so that's pretty much my option.

Yes, my Nanday first eats all the orange pellets and poops orangish. Then she eats the other colors and has poop that is different colors as well.

I picked up some Zupreem natural today. The folks at the pet store tried sell me "a more natural bird food"... Sweet Harvest brand that's seed based with dried fruits & veggies mixed in. Sounds like every bird's dream come true. Also sounds like a fatty liver in the making.

Sounds about right (meaning you are right). Let's remember wild parrots live about 7 years. In captivity they can live quite a bit longer. We feed them better, protect them from disease and predators. It makes a big difference.
