Are pony beads safe for gcc and a sun?

The title says it all.
I am making toys for the tiels and wanted to know if i can make toys for the conures with the pony beads or can they swallow them or get them stuck in their mouths?

Not the glass ones...and I wouldn't use anything under 3/8" in diameter...1/2" & larger would probably be better.....
A google search will get you almost 2 million hits, with pics, of any kind/type you might ever desire.....

I use those for my GCC and Lovebirds and have used them for many years. I don't use the ones that are coated with the really shiny stuff though cause it looks like it might chip off.

Thanks marcia, I always pick them up at walmart.The tiels love them.I doubt that the sun conure would even touch them anyway, he doesnt play with toys.
But the greenie would,,I'll make a toy for her then.
