I've made a few posts about Mr. Skittles on here but this is my first major concern.

Mr. Skittles doesn't seem to like anyone outside of the family. We don't have many people over but sometimes when my friends come to see him he is way to aggressive. He fluffs up his feathers on the back of his head and does this "hawk head" looking thing and stands really tall and paces back and forth before he lunges to bite.

The people who come to see him are people from the petstore I work at that knew him when he was sick and they're visiting to see how well he's doing. Could he be associating them with how uncomfortable he was in the store? (He was very stressed due to environment and his health was plummeting)

The only person he doesn't mind is my boyfriend, who isn't here all that much, but for some reason he really likes him. Occasionally I will notice Skittles acting slightly dominant with him which I stop right away but he's never aggressive?

Any suggestions?

This is an overbonding issue.

Possibly a territorial intrusion issue as well.

Increase socialization around strangers and it will stop. Get a travel carrier or a harness, and take him to the park. Outside his territory and around lots of strangers. Let him get used to it.

The bad behaviors will stop. I've done this dance many times.
