Pineapple Conure Eating Its Egg

Hello everyone, I am new to bird keeping and bird breeding and also new to the forum. I have a breeding pair of pineapple conure. They have laid 7 eggs, out of which they have eaten four eggs. Now I have only three eggs. I don't know the reason behind the eating of eggs. I would request the forum members to comment or give information upon this situation. :orange:

usually when an animal cannibalizes it's young it's either due to stress or lack of nutrients I believe. Or they're just a bad parent. What does your conures cage look like and what are they being fed?

I'd suggest Owlet has narrowed the causes, hope you are able to correct or at least understand what the parents are doing.
