Harrison’s fine pellet vs mash

Debating on which to try with my birds. Zupreem natural and fruit blend don’t seem to be towards their liking, at least in pellet form. I’ve been crushing the natural and putting it in with their vegetables and also on top of their seed/pellet mix.

Harrison’s is a different formula so they might like the pellets but I’m not sure. Does the mash sound more their style?

You'll never know until you try. My GCC's likes keep changing. There was a time when she would devour spray millet. Now she ignores it. She loves Nutriberries but won't touch them if I put them in a forage wheel. Now suddenly she likes paper. :)

Well, I love Harrison's. The Rb has been eating them for 30 years!

What kind of conure and how old?

I too am a Harrison's fan. My girls prefer it over Zupreem Fruit Blend. I have GCC's and a BCC. They eat the Harrison's 'fine'. I would say mash only for a young bird or ill bird.

If your bird is used to eating seeds, it can take some time to convert them to pellets.
