I finished making my paper piñata hut that getwozzzy posted a few days ago! I have yet to put it in baby's cage or even introduce her to it but I'm sure she will love it! I put that sisal rope by the entrance to try and encourage her to chew on the sisal rope instead of the newspapermiché, maybe this way she won't destroy the whole thing immediately! Lol. I'm also planning on getting some wood shavings or maybe some paper Easter grass and putting it on the inside for her to chew on, and throw out the entrance, which she always did in her play nest box! I didn't have any construction paper so I just put an extra layer of newspaper for added strength.

Lol, baby hates it! As soon as I took it out of the bag it was in she flew away at only the sight of it and when I try to get it close to her she's gone lol, I'll lay it's by her cage tonight while she is sleeping and maybe she won't be so scared of it in the morning.

Oh I SO hope she warms up to it! Perhaps try playing with it in front of her? Or put some of her favorite toys and/or treats inside?

I know ONE of your fids will go bonkers over it. They just have to, you put so much love and thought into this.

Baby is going near it now willingly, she hasn't attempted going inside but she looks interested, I'm positive she will have gone in it by tomorrow night.

Oh good, glad she will at least look at it now and go near lol . It will be fun to see pics of Baby when she's using it!

I have a Jolly Ball which is basically the same idea, and everyone is terrified of it even with treats inside. It's just been hanging there the past year like a decoration (dust catcher lol).

I'm sure in time Baby will enjoy it~ the first one I have to my budgies they thought it was going to eat them for a week lol now they can't get enough of them~ actually, the Queen of the group hogs them all LOL
