Hey,

so i just got back from Disney and me and Loki jumped straight back into routine keeping everything normal and nice.

been an absolute star.

he's been out today and guess what?! HE'S ALMOST TALKING!!

i got a video of his little words. Il upload asap!

Your baby is talking! How cute is that!!!!! At one point he sounded like a little monkey. Adorable!!!! The hello is quite clear.

Sleepy Loki after a long day of cleaning and studying. Well, he supervised

Now he is having a nice cuddle and preening my hair lol

Just a quick question, is it normal that in his cage he plays and then when he comes out he just wants to sit with me? Only plays if I do too? An flies straught to me from anywhere in the apartment?

Ordered a foraging ball for us to play with, hopefully to encourage more actual playing and less sitting haha

Normal! If you fool around with stuff when he's on you, like on a table in front of him he will want to mess with the stuff too. I have several boys who think they need to be on me. My girls are better at working on things when uncaged. So I let the boys sit a couple minutes then just shoo them off. I figure it's setting limits like I do with my dogs or kids, who are sort of the same way. If I will entertain them, why should they entertain themselves? Jackie is the most difficult. He has to be sent on his way 5 or 6 times before he finally gives up.

Aaaaaa Im glad ots normal behaviour. He doesnt like to do much of anything bar just sitting on me and snuggling with me.

Ill maybe have to just keep taking him off and putting him on his perch. Hopefully it will allow him to be more independant and play while out of his cage.

He wasnt a bit of bother today though, he is just addicted to preening me, sometimes attempting to preen my ear and neck which can be a little painful
