Hi all. I have a red belly baby, 6 months 2 weeks old that has a toenail that is growing upside down. I bought him from Old World Aviaries - Hand-fed baby parrots since the location is in the same city as I am in. When I picked him up, he had this issue and I was told I could be reimbursed to have the toenail removed or it would just be an oddity and not really effect my new boy.
Well, it's been a month and a half I guess since I got him. His grip is still pretty weak and he is still rather clumsy and the nail hasn't changed. So I am wondering what I should do? Any advice or suggestions from others who have seen this before?
