Hey guys I've fond a baby humming bird on the cement near my pool just now. We checked for nests in out back yard, and there is none. We also asked the neighbors if they had any and they said no :(

I'm really scared this baby is from the tree my brother decided to cut down a few days ago! He has color and seems to have flight feathers but his wings seem weak. Maybe he hasnt fledged yet while his brothers and sisters did?

I have no idea have to do! He drank some water from a spoon and I'm going to attempt to feed him some humming bird feed but I really have no idea what I'm doing here!

I've decided to call him flint but need some urgent help!

See siggie :)
Good luck!

Get him warm before you feed him, a hot water bottle or heat pad or heat lamp is great.
If I were you I'd try to find a wildlife rehab centre very quickly, to give him the best chance!

Sprite the cinnamon green cheek conure.
Give him to a wildlife rehab center!!! Keep him warm!! This happened to me once and the baby was fine but we were on our way to the rehab and we found him dead half way there :(

Can you take a picture? I am curious to see how tiny it is. I have never seen a hummingbird baby. I guess I could google it. :0

I guess you didn't follow that page's direction....The parents will still care for the youngsters even they fell out of their nest or in your case, the tree been cut down. IF the nest was not damaged, you should have place the baby back in the nest and stake the branch up in a tree, the parents will take care of the rest. There's been twice I took in wild birds under my care. One was a baby robin, I had no idea where his nest is as the neighbor's kid got him from some where, there was no parents around screaming for him. I used to sit out in the forrest to observe birds, I did a lot of bird watching. I raised him on handfeeding formula, fed him worms, mulberries, etc. Whatever the robins eat I feed just from observing out in the wild. I also took in a Morning Dove that was hurt and can not fly as he was attacked and almost killed by a cat. I wasn't there to witness but the people called me cause they know I have birds so I can save him. In order to take them in, you MUST know what your doing. I should have posted that other video someone else posted in here awhile back about a guy nurturing a baby humming bird. It was very cute to watch! That would give you some insight as it is too late to return the baby back out.

Hi guys! I jut recently found a grown humming bird this morning!(We've been on the look out!) I've placed the baby out there and the grown up seems interested. Maybe this is the mom? I've left the baby with the grown up and it seems to come and go, haven't seen it feed the baby so I'm keeping an eye out. But i know if it is feeding the baby I probably wont see it anyways. Still in contact with the wild life rehab.
