I have Toby the miligold and I reserved a blue and gold baby. I have a double macaw cage and Toby has a separate cage plus his tree stand.

Here's my question: is the double macaw truly ok for two macaws with the divider in the middle? I can keep Toby in his own cage but if the two could happily live in the big cage that would be great .

Is the divider just a single panel between the birds? I would think that in the event they don't get along, someone could find themself missing toes :11: which of course would be a medical emergency.

What size double cage. There's is the 80x40. In the 64x32. I think the 64x32 may be to small for both. But the 80x40 you may get lucky and be roomy for them. Depending how much out of cage time they have and how much they like to move around in there cage.

Ok good point. Yes it's the 64 model. I thought it looked too small as well.
