Regurgitating and training "stay"
So my new Mac is very adamant about being on the floor. When he's allowed on the floor he constantly regurgitates. Then when it's time to step up he's overly excited and nippy. I can't sit anywhere with him cause he will constantly try to figure out a way to get down. He won't stay on any of the stands I got for him either. Well, he can't get off the hanging stand. Yet lol
When is regurgitating considered a problem? He doesn't do it on my that much. He will stick out his foot like he wants to step but it's a trick to start banging on my hand. When he's on my shoulder he does it every once in awhile. I know why he's doing it and I know it's still hormone season. I'm just wondering if he's doing it too much if that's possible. He doesn't ever regurgitate anything out, just goes through the motions and keeps it in his mouth.
I need to train him to be happy on a stand as he can't wander the house at will for various reasons. I got a hanging stand for him but he starts screaming after a few minutes despite putting his favorite treats in the dish and making it a happy place. I take him off after he's quiet and then try again later. I usually set him on there a few times a day. And on days like today when the weather is rainy I feel bad cause he has to be in his cage a lot. Or I sit here in the bathroom with him so he can play. Don't ask me why he loves the bathroom lol
