Caique regurgitating

Hello, l am quite a new caique onwner and recently my caique sometimes would start acting like he is regurgitating. No food comes out when he does that but l am concerned about him because he does quite often. He often regurgitates for a few seconds and then stops but he would do it again after a while. I dont know if he only does that when there are people around. He is still very active and his behaviour is the same. I would appreciate if l could get any advice.

Regurging is often associated with mating season and behavior. Also with puberty, so if he is young <2yrs, he may be going through that.
