I posted a little while ago about Harley my blue and gold macaw that I rescued after he had spent 3 of his 4 years of life in his cage. I've had him almost a month and a half now and we've come a long way in such a short time. At first once out of his cage on the floor he would step up to my arm but was still very timid, in or on his cage he was very aggressive; we started doing some clicker and target training and he will now step out of his cage onto a perch and then come right to me, when he is on top of the cage he will step directly to me. We have really started to bond, he likes to sit with me on the couch while I watch TV or do school work. While he is on my hand he has started lifting his wings and allowing me to pet him under them. I'm really happy with how he is progressing and can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
