KITTY: Pineapple Green Cheek Conure (2 year old)
BODE: Nanday Conure (5 years old)
KIWI & BLUE: English Budgerigars (RIP after 10 years)
I changed both of my rescue bird's names. For Kitty I picked a name that sounded closer to her original name of 'Kiwi'. She knows her name for certain.

I personally don't think it's right to change the name of a bird or any animal if it knows it's name unless the name sounds very similar to the original.

welcome. I just saw my first greenwing macaw at a gentlemans house in Sarasota Fla where I went to buy a Parrot stand that I saw on Craigs List. Beautiful Very large bird the colors are incredible. Huge beak compared to my little quaker parrot. Lucky you and good luck with your new bird. Alison and sweetie pie
