Hey im a new bird mom and i got two male lovebirds. This is my first day having them and i named them mars and saturn. Saturn is so chill with letting people carry him. Mars on the other hand...mars is very not chill lol. He bit me while i was getting him out of the transport cage and was freaking out the whole time. Im assuming he was just shaken up from the car ride and new surroundings. Will he get better the days that pass? And what are some taming tips for him? If you even put your hand outside the cage near him he starts screaming
Saturn is just chilling though lol. Im 16 and this is my first time owning birds and im ready to do whatever i can to be able to tame mars and i would love any advice anyone could offer.

Welcome!
Good for you, for reaching out.
Lots of knowledgeable folks here. Not ! - oay no attention to any suggestions I give! Kidding... sorta.
While you're waiting for replies, the SEARCH tab above is a great engine. There are some great threads there.
Good luck!

Lovebirds can be very tricky, it takes a lot of patience! Work with Saturn as much as you can, and perhaps Mars will realize you don't plan to eat him!
