Hello !!!
I am a new member of this beautiful community, my name is Anwar, I am from Kuwait and I have a gray African parrot named Coco, 3 years old. I found this forum by chance on the net. I was looking for some information, advice and experiences from some people who have this type of bird "African Gray Parrot"
It is a beautiful and social bird. She likes to play and be with people, she has a strong personality that can not be easily controlled, and I am always looking for the best in health and education for Coco.
I hope you will accept me to be part of the community and to benefit from your experiences and advice.
I am open to hearing any suggestions or recommendations from anyone.
I look forward to hearing from you !!
I'm sorry my English is bad , I hope explain why i،m here right way
Thank you ....

Welcome and be welcomed. Your English is fine, in fact it may be better than a lot of native English speakers on this board ( myself included).

So to keep your african Grey in the best of health, read to sub-forum on diets and feeding. All parrots benefit from a healthy, varied diet. Greys are really, really smart and observant too, so you will want to have lots of chewing toys, and puzzle type toys too. That can be aproblem with greys - keeping their minds active and engaged.

Greys are flock type parrots and will thrive if they feel like they are a part of your flock ( your family). Putting their cage and or playstand in the active part of your house or appartment helps them feel like they belong to a flock.

The best advice I can offer you is to read, read, read all the threads on the African Grey sub-forum, plus the ones on behaviour and diet. Good luck!
