Photos of birds at pet store

Today I went to the pet store, got a toy for Ozzie, and took some photos of their aviary birds!

I didn't had the chance to take photos of the hand raised parrots, but I will next time!

I just love this pet store so much! They are one of the few pet shops that does not clip their parrots, and that their aviary birds lives in huge aviaries with lots of toys!

Is that a Pet Barn? Best one I've seen, the one here in port hasn't cleaned the bird cages since I moved here late December, it's so frustrating. Especially since the guy I bought Nimbus off works there!!!
Lovely store though, where is it? Might look it up on my future Melbourne trip.

Thats a cool petbarn!!!! My local one doesnt sell animals, only suplys. But they have a store pet cockatoo.

Yep, it's petbarn. This one is located in narre warren, there's also one is chadstone, which is a even bigger one. But they don't sell parrots, just food, toys, cages, etc. It's sad how although its the same company, the differences between shops is huge :/

Yeah, the one is chadstone doesn't sell parrots either, but the actual shop is a lot bigger. It even have dog day care and dog training program!

Hey thanks for the posting, but maybe you could warn them about how long the chains are... They look great compare to a lot of pet stores I just worry with those long chains what may happen to one of the birds. Is ozzy enjoying his toy?

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. I was scared if one of the bird gets its leg stuck in it, I'll tell one of the staff next time when I go

Ozzie is doing pretty well with his toy! He is still stuck on the second ring :/ But has gotten every treat out on the first ring, I guess this toy will keep him busy for a while! Lol!

He is talking like crazy right how! Hahaha

That Peachface Love Bird is gorgeous. I just wish places like pet shops would not only clean the cages regularly, but the would also take the time to clean the wooden as well as the rope perches. This would keep their birds more healthy.
