Ooooo I'm so excited, Jack just bought me Barbara Heidenreichs #1 training DVD! Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow, I'm so excited to learn about the behaviours and training techniques.

Hopefully it wasn't a wasted buy, I'm hoping to learn lots from this DVD!
I think I preffered things I had read about her then Chet Womach

Anyone else ever bought one? Thanks :D

I got one and was disappointed at the lack of detail and instruction. The whole thing was less than 30 minutes long. I don't know if it was an actual training video, though. I'm at work so I can't give you the title. It was still very informative, though. No real regrets in the purchase.

My husband bought me 4 of her training DVDs. They aren't hugely detailed, but it was informative, and for me very helpful! Her DVD's have helped me A LOT (and my birdies ^^).

So I'm very glad my husband purchased them. Her books are far more detailed.

When Mishka won the International Birds Talking competition in 2011 we got many videos and books from Barbara Heidenreich as prices.

I did not find the video's very informative, but the books were absolutely fantastic and worth reading.

I have to agree, I bought this DVD and it isn't anything I didn't know before, which is a little disheartening. I have never tried one before so I'm glad I had a look, but as for training etc, it isn't anything you can't find else where in more detail.

Gutted haha

I think the DVD's are great! I've got at least two of them, and although I already knew some of the information, I still learned something! It doesn't hurt to have a nice 'refresher' on some things you already know!

Not only that, but the videos may be geared more towards people who *DON'T* know! People who need a little guidance and could see how to do things better, or those who are knew to parrot ownership.

I agree that the videos are rather short, and that I was also disappointed in, however they were still worth the purchase!
