I'd like to do a large painting for my Grandparents this Christmas but i don't know what to do.. They both love animals but no animal in particular do they favour...

So what would be a beautiful painting for a 'hand carved mahogany furniture' styled house?

How about a pair of eclectus on a branch with like a dark background? They're stunning birds and definitely have "rich" colors:)

Hmmm...something a tad more original..? ;)

What?!! I thought that was a good one! LOL :) ..... Llamas?

A tad off topic, but theres one (a llama) potentially loose in our neighborhood:52:. A couple of girls WALK their llamas around on leads, and one got loose the other night, after dark:eek: No clue if they ever found it, but in these dense woods, I doubt it. They can be really mean animals and spit! I've been slightly paranoid about going outside the past few days....

If you want a *truly* unique animals, how about something like a blue ring octopus?

 Wow. That's definitely unusual April lol!
I was just at the county fair, and the sign by the Llamas said that they usually only spit at each other, rarely at humans. You can go ahead and go outside ;).

Blue ring octopus is actually a really nice idea! They're beautiful. The shape can actually be pretty artistic.

I stood slack jawed wondering if I had finally gone nuts and was hallucinating when I saw these teenage-ish looking girls walking llamas in a rather suburban neighborhood. Just couldn't wrap my head around what I was seeing for a minute. On my way home, I saw them again, sans one llama and pretty obviously frantically looking for it. It looked like it maybe ran behind some houses? I just hope they've found it or it's sure to find me!

Octopuses are actually very beautiful and INTELLIGENT. They're starting to find some cephalopods have intelligence approaching that of great apes, dolphins and parrots:eek:

ROTFL!!:D sans one llama hahaha. Now that would be terrible if it were an a animal that WAS predatory! Then they'd have a team of authorities out looking for it with guns lol. All kidding aside, it's sad she lost her pet. Then again, how do you lose a llama in the first place? :52:

I've also heard about the octopuses intelligence. Cephalopods approaching intelligence of great apes though?? They must get real bored in captivity
