A First, Canelo And Buddy

This morning Canelo and Buddy has a moment. It was so quick, no time to get it on camera. Buddy is my Amazon, and Canelo is our bully, English bulldog and he weighs about 70 lbs, very lovable and friendly but he's got that mug that has teeth sticking out, snorts, snores and growls all involuntarily. Canelo doesn't pay Buddy any mind and vice versa except this morning. I've attached a video of Canelo getting amped up to play, and he's trying to play with Lola but she runs and hides most days because he's like Baby Huey, and a runaway locomotive on the move, jumping, bouncing, growling, trying to look all tough, we crack up every time.

This morning he tried to engage the pugs, first Chug, then Lola to play with him. No they took off. He turns and looks at Buddy, his cage door is open. Canelo growls and starts shaking his toy like crazy bouncing towards Buddy's cage. Buddy has his eye on him, he doesn't miss a beat and starts growling. Canelo stops, does an about face and looks for the nearest pug victim, lol!!!! Buddy is safe but I do keep an eye on all of them, and Canelo has tried to get in Buddy's cage to eat the food Buddy threw at him, he doesn't fit.

You know how much I love your Canelo pictures lol, he's so funny. Are you going to video him dressed up as the 70 lb lobster for Halloween?

I'm a fan of English bulldogs. We have a frequent client with one who I just adore.

Yep, he's going to be the lobster, I love the eyes, they look like antenna, lol! And Canelo is the best dog I've ever had, I rarely have to put a leash on him, he listens so well. Very well behaved, but he does get that stubborn streak on occasion like going outside before bed, it's a stand off I always win, lol. He loves people, especially kids.
