So My work mates and I and throwing my boss a wedding morning tea. He and his partner are getting married next weekend and we are celebrating this week.

I decided to make wedding themed cookies and it was my first time decorating with fondant. I think they turned out ok even if I do say so myself. I am a little bit proud of them.

I have some more to finish so I will put some more pics up later. I cannot share them on my FB page as someone from work might see them.

Amanda, those look professional! Fondant is not easy to use at all, I made a complete and utter mess the only time I tried.
They are beautiful, really too pretty to eat:) Can't wait to see the rest of the pics!
Your boss is going to be so touched at what y'all are doing.

Being an American, I was very curious to see what biscuits you decorate. Heavy? Sausage?

Clicked the thread- ten seconds of confusion.
Ohhhhh riiiiiight- they call cookies biscuits and we call biscuits cookies.

Pretty! Very lovely. Maybe for fun find a few of those glittery sprinkle bits that are little sticks, and make embroidered lattice on the top or belt. I used to work In a dress store, so I can be very specific about dresses.

Just lay them out in little diamonds, being super careful. Like a wee little lattice. Then sprinkle a big if glitter dust over the design to blend it and hide any imperfections.

You could also take those flowers, take off the petals, turn the center into a belt brooch, and the petals info a scalloped lace by laying them on either side of the belt, with a. Tiny dab of white to make them seem transparent.

Just a couple thoughts from a dress lady :)

Thanks Terry. I have been doing lots of reading on how I'm to do it since to volunteered.

These are the joined hearts.

Thank you for the suggestions Teknogeddon. I have quite enjoyed doing this so I think I might try making some more and try some of your ideas.

Amanda, you did a wonderful job! Worlds better than my attempt at decorating with fondant, before I got good at it I made myself ill eating the mistakes. Your work looks professional like you have had years of experience.
