...for me about Amy. I get these awful nightmares occasionally about Amy and last night was a doosie.
David and I and my MOM (she has been gone almost 16 yrs) and Amy were going "somewhere" in the car and David was driving. Amy said "go potty" so we pulled into a local park where I opened the door and Amy jumped to the ground and waddled under a bush to do his business. minutes went by and I said c'mon Amy it doesn't take that long to take a dump and there was no response.
I got out of the car and he was nowhere to be found! I yelled..I called..I cried...no Amy!
It was getting late now and mom said we have to go,he'll come home. But MOM he doesn't know how to fly! I was hysterical now. We got home and I called the cops for help, then got in my car but couldn't find the park we had stopped at  I kept getting lost! Tears were just pouring from my eyes! All of a sudden I awoke. It was 7am this morning. I know mom is gone, and I'm living in a different house, but I ran to the living room to look under his house cover to see Amy on his nite-nite perch with one of his new toys in his foot, him looking at me with a WTH look on his face and grunted out a "huh?" :52:

Thank God I don't have these often but when I do it is always with Amy..never with Smokey or Jonesy or BB. Too early to drink here but I could use a bourbon and ginger right about now :19:

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Good grief Jim, that was an epic nightmare! I'm no dream analyzer, but perhaps you are having concerns with Amy escaping. Since they are happening more recently, possibly due to worries what might happen too Amy in your absence?

Nightmares are terrible. Amy is important to you, and you worry about his health. The thought of loosing him is near as bad as when you lost your mom if say. Perhaps it's a way for our minds to practice greif and prepare us for the future???

I have a nightmare that repeats here and there throughout my life. I'm living in a house , it's always the same house, but a house I've never seen or lived in in real life. It's a very large house and one corner has a door that is always broken and I can't secure. Terrible people break in and harm me, sometimes there is chasing me through the hous. Sometimes I'm at the door and see them slinking around outside. Sometimes I'm trying to fix the door. Mostly they break in at night and get me. It's a very terrifying dream. One of the weirdest and most scariest part is then I wake up and it is 3:33 am!!! Every single time I wake up in real life after this dream us 3:33 am!!!! How does this happen!?!?!? I have stayed up to see if there is something happening at 3:33 am that is causing me to wake up. But I have never found an answer. I now do not keep a clock in my bedroom. I don't want to know that it is 3:33!!!

I also just wake up at 3:33am sometimes for no reason. So like I said no clocks in bedroom, and if I wake up in the night I don't look at the time.

Well I used Google since your topic remind me if this.

It is the angel number, saying they are with you. So that's comforting. Or it represents mind, body, and spirit. Either to let you know you are aligned, or that you need to work to become aligned. As I wrote the above an add came on TV and said " I was once was blind and now I see" . ...
Sooooo I'll work on alignment, and know I'm protected. Thanks for your thread!!!!!

Dreams are a reminder that our minds never really slow-down while we sleep. And, the medical World states that our bodies and minds need that sleep. The World of Psychology has multiple explanations both old and new and it comes with the same warning as with near everything: Let the Buyer Beware!!!

That Said; We often forget that dreams can be changed. We can step into our dreams and make changes... Most children have terrible dreams about falling that cause them to wake commonly screaming to the heart cutting fear of the parents. Those dreams commonly stop when the child movers on or for a short moment in time, elects to fly. That variation runs just a few times as the child moves on to other dreams.

Jim: Scott's statement rings true. Consider a 'Will' that clearly defines who cares for Amy after you pass. Likely your brother. This 'may' bring an end to the dream. Clearly it is a deep 'fear' (,which it should,) within you that needs resolution.

Laura: As Jim so rightfully stated: OMG! Terrifying dreams leave one unrested as we struggle with the horror of the dream. Thank's for your research regarding the meaning of the issue regarding 'time.' It is comforting that part of the translation is that Angles are around...

As stated above, WE have the ability to step into a dream and make changes that can effect the outcome. But, the need to resolve the underlining emotion remains. One of the Realties of the Human Mind is that fear is not Real! It is an outgrowth of our Natural Fight or Flight response and 'fear' is that driver not being resolved.

First, use the power of changing the dream. As an example, mentally create a stock of cut-to-size 2X4's that are sided to cross the door and fit against the doors frame. Then mentally create a stock of Wood Bolts of size and length to screw those 2X4's to the door frame and then the wall structure behind them. Place in your stock a powerful pre-charged battery screwdriver.

Second, understand that unless you resolve (by naming it) the underlying 'fear' that is driving this dream, it is likely to spin a different means of entry. It is possible that you do not feel physically or mentally secure. Look back to when the dreams started looking for even small changes that have you uncomfortable. Sadly, this type of issue has a huge source. You are good at making checklists and they have guided you to success in the past. Find the source, expose it by naming it and life will start getting better.

Was shown this approach by one of my Mentors a very longtime ago. It works.

Jimmy, my bud, that was one scarey 'mare. Deep breath, several. If your brother was able to take Amy,I think Geri and I and Salty would do seeing as they are best buds already.

You're brave to share, my buddy. I always love that about you.
I'll admit that I, too have awful nightmares that involve the Rb.
Yeah... reflections about my own biological vulnerability... worries about the bird's health, future, etc. ... diffuse worries about loved ones, beloved Causes, the World...

This Community goes a long way towards supporting me as I face these things. Threads like this are so helpful...

I guess we're all a work in progress.

Except of course for the Rickeybird, who is infinite, perfect, and absolute.

As the 5th Dimension once sang...many years ago..." When the moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligned with Mars, then peace will guide the planets, and love will steer the stars"..

Think I need to see a Shalin Priest..
